ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The latest version of the well-known BMS JK Inverter

Compared to the previous version, a number of design and software changes have been introduced to improve the functionality of the device. The most important of them are:

  • improved SOC battery charge state calculation algorithm
  • possibility of working with the new 4.3″ all-glass LCD screen. In case of parallel connection of batteries equipped with BMS V19 and using the new screen, it is possible to display data from all BMS on a common screen.
  • new design of some output sockets
  • completely new software that cannot be used in BMS JK Inverter V14 and V15.

At the same time, JK has maintained full compatibility with older versions. This means trouble-free cooperation in a parallel system of energy storages equipped with different versions of the BMS JK Inverter.

Further software development is planned only for the new version V19. In software V14 and V15 only newly noticed errors will be removed.

BMS JK Inverter for energy storage management is a system that combines BMS SMART, a parallel module, an active balancer and a Comboard communication interface in one device.

This solution significantly simplifies the installation and reduces its costs. JK BMS Inverter enables full communication (CAN-RS485) with most inverters available on the market.

It allows the implementation of BMS Smart protection and monitoring functions, while enabling safe parallel connection of many energy storage facilities (all equipped with their own BMS systems). The active balancer ensures equalization of voltages between cells by operating a current of up to 1A or 2A, which meets the needs of high-capacity cells. Parameter monitoring is available via the optional LCD screen or the standard BT app.

Via the communication interface board, it is possible to select the appropriate protocol and establish communication with most inverters available on the market. You don’t need a PC program for this, just a mobile application.

BMS JK is a fully configurable device. This means that it can be used to support Li-Ion, Li-FePO4, LTO cell packages. It’s designed to work with a different number of cells (within the scope described for a given BMS).

The device needs to be configured in the mobile app for proper operation. At least the number of cells and the type of battery must be provided. Without the configuration, the BMS does not properly protect the package, which may lead to its damage.

The configuration is described in detail in the attached manual.

The operating parameters of the system can be changed by the package designer to adapt them to specific requirements, e.g. the charging temperature range can be limited or the minimum switch-off voltage of the package can be increased to increase its durability.

Thanks to the integrated design, it is not necessary to make many connections between system elements. This definitely affects the economic attractiveness of the solution, compared to building a system from individual components.

The sets come with:

  • BMS JK Inverter with active balancer and parallel module
  • Comboard
  • Cables, 4 temp sensors

As an option, you can purchase:

NOTE: All SMART BMSs have higher current consumption than standard BMSs. This results in the need to recharge packages during long storage!

To program and monitor parameters, it is necessary to download the app.
