Programmable BMS module for Li-Ion, LiFEPO4, LTO packs. Manual for BMS 100Balance. Principles for selecting BMS for a battery pack

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • The 100Balance BMS module is used for protection against short circuits, overcharging, over-discharging, and features a voltage balancing function for individual cells.
  • The 100Balance BMS is the first in the DALY Group lineup to feature a built-in high-current active balancer. The device is fully configurable. This means that it can be used to support Li-Ion, Li-FePO4, LTO cell packages. It is designed to work with varying numbers of cells (within the range specified for the given BMS).
  • Wide communication capabilities of the BMS (BT mobile app, WiFi, RS485, CAN, screens, and indicators) allow for monitoring battery parameters and adjusting them to specialized needs.
  • 100Balance BMS units allow for the parallel connection of packs equipped with them without the need for additional parallel modules, which are required in traditional DALY SMART BMS units.
  • We are pleased to inform you that the Daly BMS K, M, S, and 100Balance series currently supplied by us have enabled communication capabilities with most inverters available on the market. In the case of single storage units, communication can be established directly via the CAN/RS485 port (a custom cable is required) and by selecting the appropriate protocol in the BMS application. For storage units connected in parallel, it is required to use Comboard communication boards (communication module – available here), select the protocol, and set the BMS indices.
  • Common power port (P-) – it is not required to run a separate cable from the charger. Charging and discharging occur through the same wire.
  • Before starting the BMS, it must be connected to the pack strictly according to the attached instructions.
  • Included with the BMS are temperature probes, a Bluetooth module, and a switch.
  • Other accessories are not included in the set and can be purchased separately:
  • Voltage indicator for Daly BMS H, K, M, S, and 100Balance
  • Voltage indicator for BMS SMART Daly H,K,M,S.100Balance LCD 3″
  • LCD touch screen for Daly BMS H, K, M, S, and 100Balance 4.3″
  • WiFi module for BMS 100Balance Daly
  • RS485 cable for programming Daly BMS H, K, M, S, and 100Balance
  • NOTE: Despite the significant reduction in power consumption in the new BMS SMART series, there is a risk of battery discharge during long storage.
  • To program and monitor parameters, it is necessary to download the application. It is available on Android and iOS.
