The screen, in cooperation with the SMART BMS, enables monitoring of the current status of all battery pack parameters. It serves as an alternative or a supplement to the mobile app and Bluetooth module, especially for stationary devices where reading from a built-in screen is more convenient.
Just as with the app, the screen allows you to modify most BMS parameters (e.g., the charging temperature range).<\/p>\n
Thanks to the connection being implemented via RS485\u2014rather than UART, as in the standard DALY screen\u2014it is possible to use the screen and another device requiring a UART port simultaneously.<\/strong><\/p>\n This is particularly useful for the 100Active\/100Balance series BMS, which feature a single UART port. This port is often used to connect a WiFi module, which previously made it impossible to use the screen at the same time. This screen is not compatible with older versions of Daly SMART BMS (different plug type). For those models, you should use the standard LCD Touchscreen for Daly SMART BMS.
